This same “everything is finally ready” feeling shows up in other places too. Those exploring the gift of prophecy often describe the moment accuracy stops feeling earned. It starts feeling received instead, a door opening rather than a wall finally breaking down. The same is true of spiritual impartation, where the waiting itself sometimes turns out to be the last thing standing in the way.

Everything Is Now Ready
Luke 14:16-24 tells the story of a man who prepared a great banquet. He sent word to everyone he’d invited: come, for everything is now ready.
Notice what happens next. Person after person, invited guests who’d already said yes, started making excuses: a field to inspect, oxen to examine, a marriage to attend to.
None of the excuses were unreasonable. Fields and oxen and marriages are legitimate, ordinary parts of life. That’s exactly what makes the parable land the way it does.
Hostile people didn’t decline the invitation. Reasonable people, busy with reasonable things, simply crowded it out, on the one day it actually mattered that they showed up.
This week works the same way. Nothing about launch day requires you to feel ready. It only requires you to notice that the invitation you’ve been building toward all summer has actually arrived, and to treat it like it has.
It’s worth being honest about how easy it is to miss an arrived invitation while still fully intending to accept it eventually. The guests weren’t refusing the banquet. They were attending to reasonable things first, assuming the invitation would still be open whenever they got around to it. It simply moves on to those who came.
This Is the Week the Doors Are Open
Psalm 118:24 says “This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” People often use that verse generically, for any ordinary morning, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s worth noticing the psalmist wrote it about a specific day, one that mattered enough to name.
This week is the kind of week for anyone who’s spent this summer building toward it. Not because the calendar says September 7-11. It’s because everything this summer pointed toward actually happens now, not in some indefinite future version of “when I’m ready.”
Consequently, rejoicing isn’t a mood you have to manufacture. It’s simply the appropriate response to a door that’s been closed opening on schedule, exactly when it said it would. The rejoicing doesn’t depend on today feeling dramatic. Most genuinely significant days don’t.

Now Is the Favourable Time
2 Corinthians 6:2 quotes an older promise and then makes it immediate. “In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.”
Paul isn’t describing a future opportunity someone is still preparing. He’s naming a present one, already available, already sufficient. He’s writing to people who might reasonably have assumed grace was still on its way, that someone was still finalizing it somewhere, and correcting that assumption directly.
It arrived already. The only remaining question is whether anyone notices.
That immediacy matters here too. The doors are open now, not once your schedule clears or your doubts resolve.
It’s built for exactly the people who’ve spent a summer noticing a gap. People who saw it get a name and wanted an actual way through it. That’s who this week is for.

Notice also what this week doesn’t require. It doesn’t require you to have fully resolved every question those two posts raised. Paul didn’t write his words in 2 Corinthians to people who’d already arrived at certainty. He addressed people in the middle of an ongoing, sometimes messy process, telling them the present moment was still favourable regardless.
Now That the Doors Are Open, What This Actually Requires

It’s worth saying plainly what registering does and doesn’t commit you to. Perfect attendance isn’t required. Neither is having every question resolved beforehand, or already living like the framework has fully taken hold. Registering simply gets you a seat at the table the parable describes, on the day the host actually sets it.
If You’re Still Making Excuses
Maybe you’re the person with a field to inspect today, even though the doors are open. A deadline, a disrupted schedule, a reasonable reason today isn’t convenient. That’s worth naming honestly rather than pretending it away.
It’s worth noticing that none of the three excuses in the parable were spiritual objections. Nobody said they doubted the host, or questioned whether the banquet was real. They simply had other, reasonable claims on their attention that day. That’s usually how good invitations get missed, not through opposition, but through competing legitimate demands that happen to land on the same afternoon.
The same pattern shows up in ordinary life far more often than outright resistance does. Very few people consciously decide against something good. More often, something reasonable arrives first, and the good thing quietly slides to whenever there’s room, which sometimes turns out to be never.
The Invitation Goes to Whoever Actually Comes
But the parable doesn’t end with the host waiting indefinitely for the excuses to clear. It ends with the invitation extended further, to whoever will actually come. That’s still you, whether this week is effortless or genuinely inconvenient.
Prophetic intercession, covered in our post on Partnering with heaven to shift earth, often develops the same way. The people who show up aren’t the ones with the clearest schedules. They’re the ones who decided the invitation mattered more than the excuse, even when the excuse was perfectly reasonable.

If this week genuinely isn’t possible, the course remains available through the recordings, and that path is not a lesser one. But if this week is simply inconvenient rather than impossible, it’s worth asking honestly which one it actually is before letting the excuse decide for you.
The Doors Are Open
Everything this summer was building toward is now simply available. Not theoretical, not upcoming, not something to plan around eventually. Available, this week, to whoever decides to walk through it.
That doesn’t mean the feeling of readiness has to arrive first. Very few of the people who showed up to anything worth showing up for felt fully ready beforehand. Readiness tends to arrive after the door is walked through, not before. That’s how it worked for everyone who’s ever started something that actually mattered.
That’s really the whole message this week. The doors are open. What you do next is the only part that’s actually up to you.
