You don’t have to feel ready to walk through it. I’ve never asked for readiness first, not once, not from anyone. I’ve only ever asked you to come as you actually are, the same way I’ve asked you all summer long.

If today feels ordinary, that’s fine. Most doors that matter open on ordinary days, not dramatic ones. What matters isn’t the feeling. It’s whether you walk through while it’s open.
