OVERVIEW

The terms “we,” “us,” “our” and “Forerunner Ministries” refer to Forerunner Ministries Switzerland. The term “Site” refers to forerunner-ministries.com. The terms “user,” “you,” and “your” refer to site visitors, members, and any other users of the Site. The term “Service” refers to the activities that Forerunner Ministries offers.

By accessing or using this Site and its Service, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Do not continue to use forerunner-ministries.com if you do not agree to all of the terms stated on this page.

Forerunner Ministries Switzerland is a non-profit association (Verein) constituted under Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code, registered in Kanton Aargau, Switzerland.

SERVICE

Forerunner Ministries is a global Christian organization which provides teaching, courses, conferences, books, mentoring and a community for believers who are seeking to deepen their relationship and intimacy with God. All online services provided through Forerunner Ministries are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all site visitors, members, and users. By using the Site or Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions without modification.

Forerunner Ministries endeavours to provide teaching, courses, and a community designed to support spiritual growth, and we cannot guarantee spiritual growth, breakthrough, or an encounter with God.

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

Forerunner Ministries does not sell physical products directly through their site. Faith Shared Easily® apparel and related products are available through our associated store at www.faithsharedeasily.com. All purchases, returns, and enquiries relating to physical products should be directed to Faith Shared Easily through that site.

BOOKS AND PUBLICATIONS

Books authored by Franklyn M. Spence and/or Dr Amy L. Brice are available exclusively through Amazon worldwide. Forerunner Ministries does not sell books directly and is not responsible for any purchases, returns, or disputes arising from Amazon transactions. Please refer to Amazon’s own policies for all book-related enquiries.

MEMBERSHIP STATUS

Forerunner Ministries recognises two membership states:

Active Membership

An active member is a paying subscriber who has full access to all membership benefits corresponding to their level, including live Thursday sessions, recordings of the Thursday teachings, the full course library, the community WhatsApp group, and any mentoring arrangements applicable to their plan.

Membership may be revoked temporarily or permanently if that member does not adhere to the goals, rules, terms and conditions of Forerunner Ministries, or engages in conduct that is inappropriate, disruptive, disrespectful, or contrary to the values of the ministry. Forerunner Ministries will determine, at their discretion, whether revocation is temporary or permanent.

Active members may also be on a 6-month grace period during times of financial hardship. This is granted on discretion of Forerunner Ministries.

Cancelled Membership

Upon cancellation — whether initiated by the member or by Forerunner Ministries — all access to membership benefits ceases immediately. This includes:

  • Live Thursday sessions and recordings of the Thursday teachings.
  • The full course library.
  • The community WhatsApp group.
  • Any mentoring arrangements (Level 3 members).

For Level 3 members, any unused mentoring sessions lapse immediately upon cancellation and are non-refundable. At Forerunner Ministries’ sole discretion, remaining sessions may be honoured within 30 days of cancellation where circumstances warrant.

Any content downloaded by the member prior to cancellation may be retained for personal use only. All such content remains the intellectual property of Forerunner Ministries and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written permission.

A member who has cancelled their membership is considered a former member and they may rejoin anytime.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Members may cancel their membership at any time through their account page. Upon cancellation, access to all membership benefits ceases immediately as outlined above.

Forerunner Ministries offers a goodwill refund to new members who are genuinely dissatisfied with the service within their first 30 days of membership. Refunds are issued at Forerunner Ministries’ discretion and are not automatic. To request a refund, please contact us at info@forerunner-ministries.com.

Please note the following regarding refunds:

  • Refunds are net of Stripe payment processing fees and Stripe currency conversion fees, which are non-recoverable.
  • The 30-day refund consideration applies to your first subscription only and cannot be used more than once.
  • No refunds are issued after 30 days from the original purchase date.
  • No partial refunds are given for annual subscriptions cancelled before the renewal date. Access to the Service will continue until the end of the annual payment term.
  • It is your responsibility to cancel your account in good time if you no longer wish to be billed.

COURSE REGISTRATION, ACCESS, AND CANCELLATION

This section applies to individuals (referred to here as students) who purchase access to a standalone course without an active Forerunner Ministries membership. It also applies to members who purchase one of the foundation courses which are not included in their membership.

Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the course content. Access remains available for 4 months following the end date of the course, after which time access will end automatically. Course access is not lifetime and cannot be extended except at Forerunner Ministries’ discretion.

Forerunner Ministries does not have a dedicated technical support team. If you experience access issues, please contact us at info@forerunner-ministries.com and we will do our best to assist as soon as possible, though response times may vary.

Live course sessions are scheduled in Central European Time (CET/CEST). It is your responsibility to check session times against your own time zone. Recordings of live Thursday sessions are made available afterwards if you are unable to attend at the scheduled time, or if you prefer to participate by watching the recordings.

Cancellation and Refunds — Live/Scheduled Courses

  • For multi-session courses delivered on a schedule, you may cancel and request a refund after attending or accessing the first session, provided you notify us before the second session begins.
  • No refunds are issued once the second session has taken place or becomes available, or after the course has concluded.

Cancellation and Refunds — On-Demand Courses

  • For self-paced, pre-recorded courses, you may request a cancellation and refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • No refunds are issued after 7 days from the date of purchase.

General Refund Terms

  • Refunds are issued at Forerunner Ministries’ discretion and are net of Stripe payment processing fees and currency conversion fees, which are non-recoverable.

Temporary WhatsApp Groups

If a temporary WhatsApp group is provided as part of the course, you will be removed from the group once the course’s access period ends (usually 4 months). If you wish to remain connected with the Forerunner community, you are welcome to join as a member, which includes access to the community WhatsApp group.

DIGITAL CONTENT AND COURSES

Access to on-demand courses, live session recordings, and other digital content is provided through the Forerunner Ministries platform. Content is delivered via secure video and is available only to active members at the appropriate membership level and students who are not members but who have paid for a course.

Live Thursday sessions are conducted via Zoom and include live caption translation in 100+ languages. Recordings of all sessions are made available to members after each session, with auto-translated subtitles available in 100+ languages via YouTube. Recordings are hosted on an unlisted YouTube channel and are accessible only to members via their account dashboard. Recordings are not publicly searchable or listed on YouTube.

Live caption translations and auto-translated subtitles are generated automatically by Zoom and YouTube, respectively. Forerunner Ministries does not control or verify the accuracy of these translations and accepts no liability for any errors, omissions, or misunderstandings arising from automated translation.

Access to digital content is tied to active membership status. Content access is maintained when a membership is placed in a grace period, but access ceases immediately upon membership cancellation.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content provided through the Forerunner Ministries platform — including teachings, recordings, courses, written materials, and any other resources — is the intellectual property of Forerunner Ministries and is protected by applicable copyright law. A single-user licence is granted to members for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, share, distribute, publish, or in any way make available any Forerunner Ministries content to non-members without prior written permission. Forerunner Ministries reserves the right to immediately remove access, without refund, for any member found to be in violation of this policy.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Members are expected to act with high moral standards and integrity in accordance with biblical values and the values of Catch the Fire. This applies to all interactions within the Forerunner community, including live sessions, the community WhatsApp group, and any other community platforms.

You may not use our site, services, or community platforms to promote any business, church, ministry, book, teaching platform, retreat, conference, or any other product, service, or event without prior written permission from Forerunner Ministries.

Forerunner Ministries reserves the right to remove any member from the community — without refund — for conduct that is inappropriate, disruptive, disrespectful, or contrary to the values of the ministry.

Community WhatsApp Group

Access to the community WhatsApp group is a benefit of active membership at the applicable level. Please note the following:

  • New members are added to the WhatsApp group manually after their membership is confirmed. There may be a short delay between joining and being added to the group.
  • By joining the WhatsApp group, you acknowledge that your phone number will be visible to other group members.
  • When a membership ends — through cancellation or otherwise — the member will be removed from the WhatsApp group. There may be a short delay between the change in membership status and removal from the group.
  • If you experience any issues within the WhatsApp group, please contact us at info@forerunner-ministries.com.

ACCOUNT CREATION

To use the Forerunner Ministries course platform, you will be required to provide your name, email address, and payment details. You agree that all registration information provided to Forerunner Ministries will be accurate, correct, and up to date. You must not impersonate another person or provide an email address other than your own. Your account must not be used for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. To access or use the Site you must be 18 years of age or older. Children under the age of 18 are prohibited from using the Site.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Forerunner Ministries shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or Service, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Forerunner Ministries reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site or Service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland, the country in which Forerunner Ministries is based, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data, in accordance with Swiss and EU data protection law. We apply the data protection principles and rights described in this policy to all visitors and members, regardless of their country of residence. The Privacy Policy is available on request and is published alongside these Terms and Conditions on forerunner-ministries.com.
