It’s quiet again.
But this time, it feels a little riskier.
Trust always does.
I want certainty. Guarantees. A clear map.
But He offers me a hand.
Not a list of answers—just Himself.
Somewhere along the way, I confused control with peace.
I thought if I could manage all the outcomes,
if I could predict the twists,
I’d feel safe.
But it never worked.
And it never will.
Because peace doesn’t come from knowing everything.
It comes from knowing Him.
He is Provider when I worry.
He is Shepherd when I hesitate.
He is Faithful when I falter.
He is I AM when I feel like I’m not enough.
And so, I’m learning to trust.
Not with gritted teeth,
but with open hands.
Not all at once,
but moment by moment.
Step by step.
I can’t see the whole road.
But I can see the One walking beside me.
And tonight, that is enough.
So I whisper it—
not with certainty,
but with hope:
“I am learning to trust You.”
