When everything else is uncertain, God is not.
In the final vision of Scripture, heaven opens. And what we see is not just a glorious scene—it’s a Person. A Rider on a white horse. And His name isn’t hidden. It’s proclaimed.
“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True.” – Revelation 19:11
Faithful and True.
That’s who He is.
Not just sometimes. Not just when it’s easy. Not just when we deserve it.
He is unwavering. He is consistent. He is truth when the world spins with lies.
And He is faithful even when we are not.
🌤️ What This Name Means in My Life
I’ve doubted. I’ve wandered. I’ve let fear get louder than faith.
But time and again, God has shown up—not to shame me, but to steady me.
He has been faithful when I wasn’t paying attention.
He has been true when I was tempted to believe something else.
He has waited for me. Carried me. Held the line when I couldn’t.
Knowing Him as Faithful and True means I don’t have to second-guess His love. I don’t have to wonder if He’s going to change His mind. I can rest in His character, even when I don’t understand His timing.
🔒 Becoming a Person of Steadfastness
When I know Him as Faithful and True, I begin to desire that same steadiness in my own life.
Not perfect. Not always put-together. But real. Reliable. Present.
The people around me don’t need my perfection. They need my faithfulness. My integrity. My yes that means yes. My love that doesn’t run.
Because He is faithful to me.
And now, He is faithful through me.
🙏 A Simple Prayer
Jesus, You are Faithful and True.
When I feel unsure, You are steady.
When I feel lost, You are the way.
Make me faithful in the small things, and true in heart.
Let others see Your constancy in how I show up.
Amen.
